This contract position runs from August 10, 2026, to May 21, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week. You'll play a pivotal role, working itinerantly between two schools and contributing your expertise to help students succeed.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, writing comprehensive evaluation reports, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings. Your insight will directly impact students across a range of age groups, ensuring they receive the tailored support they need.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate
- Successful completion of the state certification exam for Educational Diagnosticians
- At least three years of full-time classroom teaching experience
- Prior experience within a school setting
- Ability to complete required fingerprinting and credentialing promptly
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach
What you’ll do:
- Implement standardized testing and assessments for students
- Prepare detailed, timely reports based on findings
- Attend and contribute to evaluation, eligibility, and ARD/IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective educational plans
- Travel between two assigned school campuses within the district
