A local school district near Noblesville, IN is seeking passionate Special Education Teachers to join their dedicated team on a full-time contract basis for the 2026-2027 academic year (August 3, 2026 – June 7, 2027). There are three unique positions available—please specify your preferred role when applying:

  • Anderson High School: Life Skills classroom, approximately 10 students, schedule 7:20 AM–2:30 PM.
  • Southview Preschool: Inclusion classroom, approximately 10 students, schedule 8:30 AM–3:30 PM (two openings).

Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Indiana Special Education Teacher license (candidates must provide a screenshot of active license upon application).
  • Experience working in a special education classroom, ideally with life skills or inclusive preschool settings.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, patience, and resourcefulness to support diverse learning needs.
  • Commitment to fostering a safe and encouraging environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs.
  • Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies for various learning styles and abilities.
  • Work closely with support staff, therapists, and administration to ensure holistic support for students.
  • Maintain accurate records and regularly assess student progress.
  • Engage actively with families to support learning objectives and celebrate student growth.
