School-Based Physical Therapist - Winter Garden, FL

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a licensed Physical Therapist to support K-12 learners throughout the academic year. This school-based position offers flexibility—either one full-time professional or multiple part-time clinicians can collaborate to fulfill needs across a diverse group of schools.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver direct and indirect physical therapy services to students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade.
• Serve between two and three campuses per day, working closely with other therapists and support staff to cover approximately 35 schools (caseload is shared with another PT and a PTA).
• Develop and implement individualized plans designed to help students achieve goals for mobility, access, and participation in the educational environment.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with school district protocols, complete required forms, and participate in meetings as needed.
• Travel between local campuses during the school day.

Qualifications:

• Current valid Florida Physical Therapy license.
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred, though candidates without this experience will be considered.
• Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and clinical team members.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to complete the district’s onboarding and credentialing process prior to start date.

Scheduling Details:

• Flexible—either 1 full-time (Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch) or 2-3 part-time Physical Therapists to cover 40 hours weekly.
• This is an on-site position for the 2026-2027 school year, August 3rd to May 28th.
