Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing maternity leave coverage for the upcoming school year. This contract assignment spans from August 10, 2026, through the first week of November 2026, supporting students across two conveniently located campuses serving grades K–8. With both schools just steps apart, you’ll have the flexibility to structure your own 7-hour workday while making a meaningful difference in the lives of approximately 90 students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP-CCC credential required
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a dynamic caseload
  • Indiana state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in grades K–8, addressing a variety of communication needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and contribute to student progress reports
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff for comprehensive service delivery
  • Transition between Liberty Elementary and the Intermediate/Middle School campus (just across the parking lot)
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to all compliance and confidentiality standards
  • Set your own daily schedule within the school hours: 7:30 AM – 2:15 PM (Elementary) and 8:45 AM – 3:45 PM (Intermediate/MS)
