Job Description
Bring your occupational therapy expertise to a school setting, working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade on a rewarding contract assignment. This position begins August 13, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2027, providing you with a stable and structured schedule. You'll be part of a supportive school environment near Edgerton, WI, where your skills in school-based occupational therapy will help students access their education to the fullest. Compensation for this position is $50 per hour.
Qualifications:
- Valid, current OT license issued by the State of Wisconsin
- Experience delivering occupational therapy services in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Comfortable working across a broad age range (K-12)
- Capable of organizing caseloads and maintaining required documentation
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
- Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, track progress, and participate in meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support students’ educational goals
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements regarding documentation and reporting
- Support students in developing skills required for academic and classroom success
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
