Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Mckeesport, PA

Discover an exciting contract opportunity providing Speech-Language Pathology services in a vibrant, supportive school environment in the greater Mckeesport region. Two onsite SLP roles are available: one focused at a single elementary school, and one traveling to serve multiple sites in Washington and Greene Counties. Both positions provide the chance to make a meaningful impact during the upcoming academic year, working directly with students, educators, and families.

Qualifications:

• Current PA SLP Educator Certificate
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings is preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to multiple school environments
• Reliable transportation and willingness to commute to designated locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to assigned students
• Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and monitor student progress
• Consult with teachers, parents, and related service providers
• Maintain timely documentation and adhere to compliance standards
• Participate in training sessions (August 13th, 14th—and for traveling SLPs, also the 17th), 8 AM-3:30 PM
• Work the regular schedule, 7:30 AM–3 PM, starting on students’ return dates (August 20th or 26th) through June 3rd
• For the traveling SLP: provide services across Bethlehem-Center Elementary, Fort Cherry Elementary, and Waynesburg locations
