Job Description
Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). This onsite role focuses on providing high-quality therapy, participating in evaluations (Evals) and ARD meetings, and collaborating closely with the educational team to create positive outcomes for a caseload of 60-80 students. From August 12, 2026, through May 21, 2027, you’ll play an integral part in empowering students to achieve their communication goals.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active SLPA license required
- Experience in school or healthcare settings serving pediatric populations
- Familiarity with elementary age intervention, Evals, and ARD/IEP processes
- Commitment to working onsite
- Strong organizational skills for managing moderate caseloads
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to adapt practices to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based speech-language therapy to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Conduct evaluations and support the IEP/ARD process with data-driven input
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and comply with district policies
- Collaborate with supervising SLPs, educators, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Organize flexible and engaging group and individual therapy sessions
- Maintain a supportive, encouraging approach in all interactions
