An exciting contract opportunity awaits an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist interested in supporting elementary and preschool students. This role will provide vital coverage for a current SLP on maternity leave starting in December, serving children in preschool through fifth grade. If you are skilled in fostering student communication growth, navigating IEP processes, and collaborating with school teams, you’ll find this role rewarding.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold SLP licensure in good standing and current ASHA CCCs
  • Demonstrated experience working with prek-5th grade students, preferably in a school-based setting
  • Skilled in assessment, developing intervention plans, and progress monitoring for diverse student populations
  • Ability to write, facilitate, and lead IEP meetings in compliance with all regulations
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt services to meet students’ varied needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to preschool and elementary-aged students
  • Conduct eligibility assessments, interpret results, and communicate findings to educational teams and families
  • Develop, update, and implement IEPs consistent with district and state requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with all reporting guidelines
  • Participate in ongoing professional development as needed for the assignment
