Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Current and active SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior work in educational/ school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and student documentation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver therapy and assessment services to students on a split caseload between junior high, elementary (and later high school)
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Consult with teachers, families, and other specialists to support students’ speech and language needs
- Adapt approach across age groups, as the assignment transitions from elementary/junior high to high school
- Participate in meetings and multidisciplinary teams as required
