We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for working in pediatric school settings. This role will have you working across three educational levels—elementary, middle, and high school—with a small, manageable caseload. The assignment runs from July 28, 2026, through July 16, 2027, and requires about 8 hours weekly, providing great professional flexibility.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Mississippi teaching certificate with a 215 endorsement.
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials required.
- Experience or interest in pediatric populations in school settings.
- Strongly preferred: Membership with the Mississippi Speech and Hearing Association and the American Speech and Hearing Association; Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology; Mississippi Board of Examiners certification.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and provide guidance to support personnel (CFY, assistants, paras, RBTs, CNAs, or LPNs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services to a diverse group of students across three schools.
- Develop and implement IEPs to address students' speech and language goals.
- Conduct assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions.
- Maintain detailed records of progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings as needed.
- May provide supervision or mentoring to support staff, as applicable.
