This contract position offers the chance to work with elementary-aged students at a supportive educational center. The role is based onsite and provides flexibility for full-time or part-time schedules (minimum three days per week).

Your initial assignment involves covering a maternity leave through mid-January 2027 (date subject to change), serving as a key resource for students and staff during this period. Should the original staff member return in January, you’ll transition to a versatile floating support position for the remainder of the school year. Responsibilities may include conducting student evaluations, collaborating with adult education programs, and consulting across a variety of settings.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania School Psychologist Education Certificate is required
• Experience working with students in an elementary school setting preferred
• Strong skills in assessment, data analysis, and report writing
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Adaptability to navigate different roles and settings as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and academic assessments for elementary students
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Offer intervention strategies and consult with teachers, administrators, and families
• Provide crisis intervention, behavioral support, and promote a positive school climate
• Support adult education or evaluation initiatives as assigned in the floating phase
