Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid SLP-CCC certification
  • Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • Adaptability and a commitment to promoting positive student outcomes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and data for each student case
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise
  • Offer guidance and strategies to school staff regarding student communication needs
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education requirements
