Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Denton, MD

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving a PreK-2 school in Centreville, MD, with easy access to the surrounding Denton area. From October 1 to December 23, you’ll play a vital role supporting young learners as part of a collaborative educational setting.

In this position, you'll manage a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students, offering a blend of direct therapy, evaluations, and essential case management. Enjoy a steady workday of 7 hours (plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch) within a focused, child-centered environment.

Qualifications:

• Active Maryland State License in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience working in schools or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational abilities
• Commitment to serving PreK-2 students and collaborating with staff and families

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for PreK-2 students
• Deliver direct therapeutic services tailored to a diverse caseload
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain effective case management and documentation in compliance with state and district standards
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to support student communication goals
