Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Radiology Technologists with expertise in both Imaging and X-ray are invited to take on a dynamic role in a large, leading-edge healthcare environment. This contract position offers a consistent 12-hour night shift (Friday–Sunday, 6:30pm–7:00am, totaling 36 hours weekly) with a schedule that remains steady throughout your assignment. The role supports a prominent, high-acuity teaching hospital recognized as both an adult and pediatric Level I Trauma Center.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ acute care experience in a trauma facility (Level I, II, or III); first-time travelers welcome with relevant trauma background
  • ARRT-R and BLS required
  • Proven proficiency with general x-ray imaging (head, neck, spine, extremities, chest, abdomen) and portable work
  • Competence with OR imaging needs (spinal, ortho, neuro, pediatric procedures) utilizing C-arm (O-arm experience is a plus)
  • Experience using EPIC EMR system
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting and communicate clearly within a collaborative, team-focused department

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality imaging services to adults and children under emergent, routine, and post-operative circumstances
  • Rotate between different x-ray modalities (ED, OR, Main Level, portables) by shift
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, other technologists, and students in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Maintain departmental standards for safety, accuracy, and documentation
  • Occasional student precepting, depending on experience
