Pharmacist - Murfreesboro, TN

A pharmacy position is available for licensed pharmacists to work in a high-volume mail order and renal specialty setting. The role requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy given the specialty focus and volume of approximately 1,000 prescriptions filled daily.

Shifts Available:

• 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM – 8:30 PM (2 openings)
• Late Morning to Evening Shift: Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM (1 opening)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Verification 2 (PV2) duties, including final verification of prescriptions
• Verify accuracy of medication labels, bottles/boxes, and directions against hard-copy prescriptions
• Utilize Wellsky pharmacy order entry system in a non-automated environment
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and medication accuracy
• Support renal specialty pharmacy operations

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in high-volume pharmacy settings
• Strong attention to detail with a good attitude and professionalism
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Flexibility to accept a temporary role with the understanding that a temp-to-hire option is uncertain and depends on business needs
• Immediate availability to start is preferred
