Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Chicago, IL

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP license in Illinois (or eligibility for licensure)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or be a Clinical Fellow (CFY) ready for school-based experience
• Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for a wide range of speech and language disorders in elementary-aged children
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary students
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals based on student needs
• Deliver engaging speech-language therapy sessions and track student progress
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with school and district policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise to support students’ overall success
