Step into an impactful role supporting students' academic, social, and emotional well-being as a contract school psychologist working with K-5 students. This opportunity is available for immediate start and offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Deliver crucial services for young learners and collaborate with a dynamic school team dedicated to fostering a positive educational environment.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Current School Psychologist Certification
- Valid state licensure for school psychological services
- Previous experience in a school setting
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for K-5 students
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
- Provide evidence-based counseling, intervention, and crisis response
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support personnel to promote student success
- Support Response to Intervention (RTI) and Student Assistance Teams
- Maintain detailed, compliant records of services provided
- Advocate for equitable educational access and resources
