Qualifications:

  • Current California Occupational Therapy License (CA OT License) required
  • Prior experience working with K-8 students in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other specialists

  • Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards in school environments

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy services tailored to individual student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals in coordination with the multidisciplinary team
  • Collaborate with teachers, aides, and parents to support classroom inclusion
  • Document student progress and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Provide consultative support and strategies to staff and families
  • Engage students through creative and evidence-based activities to promote fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living skills
