Operating Room Technician in Lynn, MA

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (ORT, CST)
• Demonstrated experience as a Surgical Tech in an operating room environment
• Proficiency in aseptic techniques and surgical instrumentation
• Strong understanding of hospital protocols and patient safety practices
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, surgeons, and patients
• Current BLS certification
• Attention to detail and reliability in a fast-paced surgical setting

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment before procedures
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgeries by handling instruments and supplies
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique throughout all surgical procedures
• Monitor inventory and organize surgical instruments for upcoming cases
• Ensure that operating rooms are clean, stocked, and properly configured for each case
• Support surgical team members before, during, and after procedures
• Properly handle specimens, documentation, and patient data
