Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving upper elementary and middle-to-high school students. You’ll provide essential speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 60 students—primarily consultation or group-based interventions—across 2-3 days per week, totaling 25 hours. The school year begins August 10, 2026, running through May 28, 2027, with the possibility of a short extension for end-of-year meetings.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Florida SLP license required
  • Experience with school-aged pediatric populations, including consultative and group therapy models
  • Comfortable supporting both upper elementary (grades 4-6) and older students (grades 7-12)
  • Open to SLP-CFY and SLP-CCC candidates
  • Strong collaboration skills for working alongside educators, parents, and support staff

Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations, document findings, and create individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy to diverse students, fostering communication, social, and academic growth
  • Monitor progress and maintain precise records in accordance with district and regulatory standards
  • Engage in IEP meetings as needed and partner with teaching staff to implement strategies
  • Contribute to end-of-year meetings if scheduled through June 18
