School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Pinson, Alabama

Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students’ communication development in a dynamic elementary school setting. This onsite position, conveniently located near Pinson, AL, offers the chance to work with a dedicated caseload of approximately 50 students, spanning from August 2026 through May 2027. You’ll collaborate with educational staff, share expertise, and help shape a supportive learning environment for young learners.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) State License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid Educator Certificate for Alabama schools
• Experience in a school-based setting, preferably elementary level
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, progress tracking, and data-driven intervention
• Excellent interpersonal, consultation, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services onsite at Cleveland Elementary School
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse student caseload
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ IEP goals
• Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and attend IEP meetings
• Utilize best practices and evidence-based strategies for effective intervention
• Foster an inclusive, positive environment to empower students academically and socially
