Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid SLP license for the state of Illinois.
  • Eligibility as an SLP–CCC or SLP–CFY.
  • Demonstrated school-based experience or strong interest in working within educational teams.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Passion for fostering student achievement through evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to school-aged children.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to create individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Conduct assessments and write detailed, actionable progress reports.
  • Consult with school team members to coordinate services and support inclusive environments.
  • Document therapy progress in accordance with district and state guidelines.
