What you’ll bring:
- Valid OT license for Massachusetts (OT MA)
- Experience or strong interest in providing services to K-12 populations
- Knowledge of individualized education plans and ability to collaborate with educational teams
- Flexibility to adapt services across various student abilities and classroom environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and accessible learning environments for all students
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students individually and in groups as outlined in IEPs and 504 plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school personnel to support student learning and access to education
- Assess student needs, document progress, and contribute to goal setting and periodic reviews
- Adapt activities and interventions to meet diverse sensory, motor, and functional needs
- Provide education and consultative support to staff and parents regarding strategies for classroom and home
