Multiple contract positions are available, each tailored to unique student populations at two vibrant educational locations. Open Positions (please specify your preferred role when applying):

  • Anderson High School: Life Skills Teacher
    • Schedule: 7:20 AM – 2:30 PM
    • Classroom: Life Skills, approximately 10 students
  • Southview Preschool: Inclusion Classroom Teacher
    • Schedule: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
    • Classroom: Inclusion, approximately 10 students per class (two positions available)

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Valid Indiana Special Education teaching license (please include a screenshot with your application)
  • Prior experience working with students who have diverse learning needs strongly preferred
  • Ability to adapt instruction to various academic and functional levels
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills, able to work with multidisciplinary teams
  • Dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct instruction tailored to student-specific needs
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
  • Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school staff
  • Foster a positive, productive classroom atmosphere that encourages growth and learning
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to compliance requirements
