Job Description
\nQuad In-Store is currently seeking entry-level and skilled machine operators to work in our West Allis facility. Machine operators are responsible for the setup and operation of finishing equipment, including but not limited to: Die Cutters, Guillotine Cutters, and Stock Mounters.
\n\n
Job duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
\nPerform the setup and operation of various finishing equipment to customer specifications.
\nInspect product to determine conformity to quality specifications.
\nMove work-in-process to and from the machine via electric pallet jack or forklift.
\nRead and understand job tickets.
\nComplete necessary job paperwork.
\nReport productivity achievements, waste/defects.
\nAdhere to production schedule and quality requirements.
\nCommunicate effectively with supervisor, finishing operators, material handlers, and co-workers.
\nClean and maintain the work area.
\nPerform routine preventative maintenance and production adjustments on equipment as needed.
\nAbility to work Monday-Thursday 2:00pm-12:00am with Fridays and Saturdays as needed for overtime.
\nPreference is to train on 1st shift 4:00am - 2:00pm.
\nQualifications
\nThe ability to bend and lift 10-15 pounds continuously, the ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally, stand long hours, and use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement. Receive and follow instructions and use vision in order to identify defects, performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere with or without a reasonable accommodation. Mechanical aptitude and excellent communication skills, including good verbal and written comprehension is required. The ability to perform basic math calculations is essential. Prior Machine Operator experience and proven familiarity with finishing equipment are desired.

Education and Experience:
\nHS diploma or equivalent.
\nAbility to receive and follow instructions and use vision in order to identify defects.
\nStrong math skills and knowledge of simple computer operations.
\nAbility to read, interpret, and process written job instructions, including those dealing with dimensions and quantity.
\nMust have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
\nMechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
\nExcellent communication skills, including good verbal and written comprehension is required
\nExperience with forklift operation and/or other material handling equipment is a plus.
