Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year! This full-time, contract role offers the chance to make a real difference across multiple schools within a supportive K-12 setting. From August 2026 through June 2027, you’ll work closely with students and educators to provide high-quality speech and language services and support positive student outcomes.

Key Qualities & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for school-based SLP in Connecticut
  • Previous experience within a school setting serving K-12 students preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
  • Comfortable working across multiple schools in a districtwide role
  • In-person availability required for the duration of the contract

What You’ll Do:

  • Assess and identify the speech and language needs of K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy and consultative services in accordance with IEPs
  • Monitor student progress and document outcomes
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to maximize student success
  • Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as part of the student support team
  • Adapt therapy approaches across various school environments
