Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Active SLP license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Previous experience in a school-based environment is highly valued
- Demonstrated ability to supervise SLPAs and provide mentorship
- Proficiency in conducting detailed speech-language assessments and delivering clear reports
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee and supervise onsite SLPAs, ensuring the highest standards of service and compliance
- Administer comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and parents to update and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to address student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and assist in progress tracking
- Participate in meetings, offer professional guidance, and contribute to staff development
