Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification or license as a school psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 student populations is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of psychological assessments, behavioral interventions, and special education procedures
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage time efficiently while balancing multiple caseload demands
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual psychological evaluations and interpret assessment results to guide educational planning
- Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to student needs within a diverse K-12 caseload
- Provide counseling and consultation to students coping with academic, social, or emotional concerns
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success and address barriers to learning
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable insights for student accommodations
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed throughout the school year
