Key Qualifications:
- Active and current BCBA certification
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and development of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and ethical standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and analyze data to identify student needs
- Develop and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) for students with behavioral challenges
- Train and support school staff on implementing behavioral strategies and interventions
- Provide consultation to teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to foster inclusive and positive learning environments
- Regularly review progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain thorough documentation
- Attend meetings and participate in IEPs as a behavioral expert
