Job Description
Seeking highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analysts to make a meaningful impact by supporting school psychologists and enhancing student outcomes throughout the academic year! Key Qualifications:
- Current, active BCBA certification issued in Texas
- Prior school-based experience preferred for seamless transition into an educational setting
- In-depth knowledge of specialized assessment tools, including VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, and AFLS
- Proficient in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and direct observation
- Effective communicator and collaborator, comfortable supporting multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability and willingness to travel between schools within the district as an itinerant professional
- Must complete fingerprint background clearance through TEA, unless completed recently for another public school district
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver evaluative support to school psychologists, focusing on Full Individual and Initial Evaluations (FIIE)
- Collect and analyze behavioral and educational data to inform IEP and intervention planning
- Perform a variety of behavioral assessments to identify and address student needs
- Consult alongside educators and specialists to drive evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to school and state compliance standards
- Support classrooms, teachers, and families with actionable recommendations for student growth
