Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting (preferred)
- Strong communication, organizational, and record-keeping abilities
- Passionate about student well-being and success
- Knowledge of current best practices, assessments, and intervention strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ needs
- Maintain detailed and compliant documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development
- Use evidence-based methods to facilitate communication and language development
- Offer consultative services to teachers and staff for student success in classrooms
