This position is ideal for a dedicated physical therapist interested in making a difference in educational settings. With a flexible schedule of 20-25 hours per week, the role involves traveling to various schools to deliver essential physical therapy services in accordance with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students as specified in their IEPs
- Collaborate with other PTs for equitable caseload distribution and school assignments
- Document service sessions and monitor student growth and response to therapy
- Share insights and recommendations with IEP teams and participate in meetings as needed
- Adapt and develop therapy plans that best support student achievement
- Engage in ongoing communication and teamwork with staff, students, and families
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid State Physical Therapy (PT) license
- Previous school-based PT experience preferred
- Adept at communicating and collaborating with educational teams and families
- Strong skills in developing therapy plans and tracking progress
- Ability to travel between assigned schools as needed
