Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Rio Rancho, NM

Qualifications:

• Current New Mexico SLP license and valid NMPED teaching certification required
• Accepting candidates with either Clinical Fellowship (CF) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) status
• School-based experience or a passion for supporting students in educational settings, especially at the middle school level
• Familiarity with or interest in running social communication groups and responsive intervention strategies
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Role Overview:

• Deliver speech/language therapy individually and in groups within a middle school environment
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Utilize evidence-based practices to support students with social communication needs
• Maintain documentation, track progress, and participate in team meetings
• Educate students, families, and staff on effective communication strategies
