Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity supporting middle school students in a Social Communication Program as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This part-time contract role (18 hours per week) welcomes both Clinical Fellows and CCC-certified professionals eager to make an impact in a collaborative educational environment near Rio Rancho, NM.

Qualifications:
- Current New Mexico SLP license and valid NMPED teaching certification required
- Accepting candidates with either Clinical Fellowship (CF) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) status
- School-based experience or a passion for supporting students in educational settings, especially at the middle school level
- Familiarity with or interest in running social communication groups and responsive intervention strategies
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Role Overview:
- Deliver speech/language therapy individually and in groups within a middle school environment
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support students with social communication needs
- Maintain documentation, track progress, and participate in team meetings
- Educate students, families, and staff on effective communication strategies
