Job Description

This full-time contract position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in schools and the SLP-CCC credential. Position Highlights:
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Hours: 8:45 am – 4:00 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break
- Serve an elementary caseload of approximately 40 students, with a focus on STARS students
- Collaborative environment where you can share ideas and strategies
Required Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP license and necessary state certifications
- Current SLP-CCC credential
- Strong background in school-based speech therapy
- Experience working with elementary-age children
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to assigned caseload
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary students
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as per school and district guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents
- Support STARS students with targeted interventions and progress monitoring
- Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions as required
