This full-time contract position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in schools and the SLP-CCC credential. Position Highlights:

  • Monday through Friday schedule
  • Hours: 8:45 am – 4:00 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break
  • Serve an elementary caseload of approximately 40 students, with a focus on STARS students
  • Collaborative environment where you can share ideas and strategies

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois SLP license and necessary state certifications
  • Current SLP-CCC credential
  • Strong background in school-based speech therapy
  • Experience working with elementary-age children
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to assigned caseload
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary students
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation as per school and district guidelines
  • Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents
  • Support STARS students with targeted interventions and progress monitoring
  • Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions as required
