Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active state Occupational Therapist license (OT) in Missouri
  • Prior experience delivering OT services in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP development and familiarity with IDEA/504 plan compliance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt treatment plans to meet diverse student needs
  • Organizational skills to manage a flexible schedule and travel between multiple locations as required

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy assessments, direct therapy, and consultation for students according to their IEPs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and document services provided
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and administrators to integrate OT strategies into classroom routines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and assist with goal setting and progress monitoring
  • Serve as a resource to families and staff regarding student needs and appropriate accommodations
