Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students across a diverse K-12 population in the San Bernardino area. This school-based role will have you working as an Occupational Therapist, offering both a full school year assignment and a maternity leave coverage option. You’ll provide specialized OT services for students aged 3-22 with a range of needs—from mild to severe disabilities—using your expertise to make a real difference.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapy license for California is required
  • Direct experience working in California school settings
  • Proficiency with the BOT-3 and Peabody assessments for a wide age range, including students with multiple disabilities
  • Strong data analysis and documentation skills to address parent concerns and guide service recommendations effectively
  • Ability to manage a fluctuating caseload, as student numbers will change throughout the assignment
  • Must be self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal district support
  • Flexibility to create adaptive schedules based on district and student needs; itinerant experience is a plus
  • Spanish/English bilingual skills are highly preferred, though not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer standardized OT assessments and interpret results as part of student evaluations
  • Develop and deliver individualized intervention plans for students with varying levels of need
  • Communicate and collaborate with families, teachers, and school staff regarding student progress and recommendations
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation, progress reports, and IEP contributions
  • Provide consultation and support for parents and staff to foster student achievement
