Job Description
Step into an influential role supporting students as a School Psychologist in the Bonita Springs, FL area! This contract position is full-time, offering 35 hours per week, and runs from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027. The assignments may include working across multiple campuses in an itinerant capacity, engaging with a diverse range of students and collaborating with dedicated professionals to foster student success.
Ideal candidates are skilled in the full scope of school psychological services, particularly with a strong foundation in assessments, report writing, and participation in IEP meetings.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Florida Department of Health Psychologist license (required)
- Experience with conducting a broad range of student assessments
- Experience in school-based settings highly preferred
- Strong ability to write detailed reports and articulate findings
- Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform student assessments and interpret results
- Prepare thorough and timely psychological evaluation reports
- Attend and actively contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student needs
- Support intervention planning and progress monitoring
- Manage a caseload that could include various age groups and school sites
