English as a Second Language (ESL) General Education Teacher | Lake Zurich, Illinois

Step into an exciting contract opportunity as a Dual Language Teacher in a vibrant PreK classroom, serving students in an engaging educational environment near Lake Zurich, IL. This full-time, onsite position will immerse you in the rewarding role of shaping the early learning journey for young English Language Learners from August 17 through May 27, 2027.

Bring your passion for education to a role where you’ll provide targeted instruction and inspiring support to PreK–2 students developing English proficiency. You’ll collaborate with fellow educators to design and deliver effective lessons, create an inclusive space, and foster meaningful connections with both students and families.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Illinois Professional Educator License with necessary ESL and/or bilingual endorsements
• Experience in curriculum design, instructional planning, and differentiated teaching
• Proven oral and written communication abilities
• Prior experience or demonstrated interest working with early learners and multilingual students

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction to PreK English Language Learners within a dual language framework
• Adapt lessons to support language acquisition, social-emotional growth, and academic progression
• Assess and monitor student learning, adjusting strategies to meet diverse language needs
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a holistic and nurturing environment
• Maintain up-to-date records in compliance with school and district requirements
