Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP license in NY, or eligibility to obtain before start
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Experience or strong interest in schools, particularly within developmental disabilities and autism population
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and nonprofit policies
• Provide consultation and support to teachers, families, and caregivers
• Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for student needs
• Adapt therapy methods to meet each student’s unique strengths and challenges
