Step into an impactful full-time contract opportunity as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist serving elementary-aged students throughout the 2026–2027 school year. This assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering the chance to support communication growth in a dynamic educational setting.

You’ll collaborate onsite Monday through Friday, working 37.5 hours each week with a manageable caseload of about 43 elementary students. Your expertise will deliver essential speech and language interventions, shape individualized educational goals, and champion positive outcomes for young learners.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • National certification (CCC-SLP) required
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong preference for current, active North Carolina SLP licensure
  • Familiarity with IEP process, documentation, and data collection
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff

Responsibilities:

  • Assess student speech and language needs using standardized protocols
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on student goals
  • Manage documentation and progress reports in accordance with district guidelines
