Job Description
Bring your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to a supportive school environment seeking to expand its behavioral services for students. This contract position is ideal for a part-time BCBA passionate about shaping a new program and fostering meaningful outcomes for students and staff alike.
In this unique role, you’ll be instrumental in launching the district’s very first BCBA services and will advise on the hiring and supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with leadership and help shape the services from the ground up. Your professional guidance will directly impact students’ growth, staff development, and the overall school community.
Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required.
- Background in educational or school-based settings preferred.
- Experience supervising RBTs or similar professionals strongly desired.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with directors, educators, and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with district leadership to design and implement ABA interventions tailored to student needs.
- Guide the recruitment and supervision of RBTs, providing ongoing performance feedback and training.
- Conduct behavioral assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress.
- Provide actionable recommendations to support positive behavioral change.
- Document interventions and maintain compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Attend scheduled meetings, including an initial caseload overview with the director on August 10th.
