A rewarding opportunity awaits for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist ready to make a difference in the lives of students from 4K through 8th grade. This full-time, contract assignment runs from August 24th to June 4th, offering 37.5 hours weekly in a supportive educational environment near Racine, WI. The position involves serving a diverse caseload of approximately 11 speech-only students and supporting an additional 10-20 IEPs where speech is a related service.

Candidates with experience in diverse urban settings will truly shine, as will those who bring a thoughtful, culturally responsive approach to speech therapy. While CCC-SLPs are preferred, strong Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates will be considered if necessary.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Wisconsin SLP license and DPI certification required
  • CCC-SLP strongly preferred; open to CFY applicants with supervision
  • Experience working in schools and with IEP processes
  • Background with urban and multicultural student populations highly desirable
  • Ability to handle both speech-only and related service caseloads

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for student referrals
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language services as specified by student IEPs
  • Maintain timely documentation and work collaboratively with school teams and families
  • Remain familiar with and provide services according to Child Find requirements
  • Support inclusive and equitable communication strategies within the school

Compensation for this assignment ranges between $45 and $55 per hour, depending on experience and district budget parameters.
