This contract opportunity offers a full-time, 37.5-hour workweek supporting students from kindergarten through age 22, including those with moderate to severe disabilities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver impactful speech-language therapy to students with a range of communication needs, including assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and language development delays.
  • Conduct thorough diagnostic and evaluation testing as needed to inform service recommendations.
  • Prepare clear, insightful reports reflecting student assessment findings and classroom observations.
  • Develop and track individualized IEP objectives tailored to each student's growth.
  • Work closely and communicate effectively with parents, classroom staff, and other team members regarding student progress and continued areas for support.
  • Support students with moderate to severe disabilities, spanning ages 2 to 22.

Qualifications:

  • Hold, or be eligible to obtain, a Delaware state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist. CFY candidates are welcome.
  • Previous experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork are essential.
