This full-time assignment offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact during a Leave of Absence coverage, working directly with both preschool and middle school-age students across two dynamic settings. On-site presence is essential, ensuring you can engage actively with students and the multidisciplinary team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current and active California SLP license
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to fit diverse learner needs in preschool and middle school environments

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Create and implement engaging, individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of evaluations and therapy sessions
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to team-based support for each student
  • Manage a balanced caseload, adjusting priorities as needed based on school schedules

This assignment is scheduled to begin in mid-October, with an estimated end date to be determined. The full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, working with supportive school teams focused on student success. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting communication development and helping students thrive.
