English as a Second Language (ESL) General Education Teacher | Waukegan, Illinois

Shape young minds and foster language development in an engaging PreK classroom setting. We are seeking a dedicated educator to serve as a Dual Language Teacher with a focus on English as a Second Language for early learners, working exclusively onsite throughout the school year from August 17th to May 27th, 2027. This is a full-time, contract opportunity designed for those passionate about early childhood education and supporting multilingual students.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
• Current Illinois Professional Educator License with relevant endorsements.
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, instructional planning, and lesson delivery.
• Strong communication abilities, both written and oral.
• Background in general education and/or ESL, particularly with early learners or PreK-Grade 2 students.
• Commitment to working onsite; virtual instruction is not considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging instruction tailored to dual language and ESL learners in a PreK classroom.
• Develop and implement curriculum aligned with grade-level and language development standards.
