You’ll participate in interviews beginning 7/27, where you can discuss your special education experience and share your preferences for caseloads. This process helps ensure a great match for you and the students you’ll support.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior school-based or classroom experience as a paraprofessional is highly desirable
  • Background supporting students with special needs (autism, behavioral challenges, or life skills) is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate closely with teachers and school staff
  • Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support instruction and classroom management under the direction of a certified teacher
  • Help implement individualized education programs (IEPs) focused on student goals
  • Foster a safe and respectful learning environment for all students
  • Provide one-on-one, small group, or classroom-wide behavioral and academic support
  • Assist with personal care tasks or mobility needs as assigned
