This contract opportunity spans the 2026–2027 school year and offers a fulfilling experience working alongside fellow Speech-Language Pathologists in an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) environment. You’ll become part of a dedicated team making meaningful impacts with students who require specialized communication support, with a manageable caseload of 40-55 students.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Possess an active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, especially with ASD populations
- Strong collaboration skills for partnering with teachers, specialists, and families
- Excellent documentation and organizational abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students in an on-site ASD educational setting
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Provide resources and training to staff and families for optimal student outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely records and adhere to district and state compliance guidelines
