Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Taylor, MI

Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students from preschool through high school as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, onsite opportunity spans the entire school year starting September 1st, offering a flexible schedule suited to your needs. You'll be a key resource for elementary students, including those in both cross-categorical classrooms and general education with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Additionally, you’ll have a direct impact in two ACT 18 Autism Spectrum Disorder elementary classrooms, delivering essential speech and language interventions.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure/certification (or eligibility)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants welcome
• Prior experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
• Comfort supporting students with ASD and cross-categorical needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students, primarily in elementary grades
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and deliver progress updates
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
• Document interventions and maintain accurate records
• Support cross-categorical and ASD classrooms with specialized interventions
