Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Steinhatchee, Florida
Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract role providing speech-language services to passionate young learners in the upper elementary through high school grades. This opportunity focuses on students in 4th to 12th grade, with most on your caseload engaging in consultative or group-based sessions. Serving approximately 60 students, you'll make a meaningful impact while maintaining a balanced, manageable workload of 25 hours over 2-3 days per week.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLP License required
- Open to SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and clinicians with strong school-based experience
- Background in pediatrics or adolescent speech-language therapy is a plus
- Familiarity with school-based processes and collaborative teamwork
- Excellent communication and consultative skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions
- Consult and collaborate with educational staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and implement IEP goals, and provide data-driven progress documentation
- Support a diverse range of speech/language needs in students grades 4-12
- Participate in team meetings and professional development, with possible additional meetings through June
