Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license for the state of MI (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Pediatric experience, especially in K-12 school settings
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for speech/language disorders
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with fellow professionals, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech/language therapy services to students
- Conduct screenings and evaluations
- Document therapy progress according to school and state guidelines
- Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in parent and team meetings
